Charles Johnson has spent more than two decades in the commercial office furniture industry — learning it from the ground up before founding Kansas City Office Design in 2020.

He got his start in 2003, when most offices still meant rows of gray cubicles and chairs bought on price alone. Since then, he's watched the industry shift toward ergonomics, activity-based work, and the kind of intentional design that actually improves how people feel at their desks. That shift is exactly what KC Office Design is built around.

As an authorized dealer for brands like Humanscale, SitOnIt, AIS, OFS, Allermuir, and others, Charles works directly with businesses across the Kansas City metro — Overland Park, Lenexa, Olathe, Lee's Summit, Shawnee, Prairie Village, and Liberty — to source, specify, and deliver furniture that fits real work.
