Reviews From Kansas City Clients

Below are a selection of reviews from customers we’ve helped in Kansas City and surrounding areas.

★★★★★ Kansas City Parks & Rec — Kansas City, MO
Category: Cubicles / Desks / Planning
Kansas City Office Design was a great partner on our project at Kansas City Parks and Recreation. They helped us transform large open rooms into functional private offices using 82"H panels and desking, and also provided valuable planning and furniture selection support throughout the process. Their team was responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, and we’re very happy with the finished result.

★★★★★ Mecum Auctions — Honolulu, HI
Category: Chairs / Desks / Storage / Conference / Café / Planning
Kansas City Office Design has helped us across the country, but our Hawaii location really put them to the test. They helped us understand shipping container costs and the best approach to outfitting the office. They took the space from a shell to a beautiful, functional workplace.

★★★★★ Jackson County Public Health — Lee's Summit, MO
Category: Chairs / Desks / Storage / Conference / Café / Planning
We selected Kansas City Office Design through a competitive public bid process using Omnia, and they delivered excellent value and service. While cost helped win the project, their team also supported us with planning, logistics, and furniture solutions for waiting rooms, offices, cubicles, training rooms, and more. They were responsive, organized, and easy to work with throughout the project. We’d gladly recommend them to other public-sector organizations.

★★★★★ IT Solutions — Sarasota, FL
Category: Workstations
We found Kansas City Office Design through their website while looking for quality, well-priced workstations. We sent our dimensions and they created a space plan that allowed for more people. They also helped with power configuration and drops so everything lined up. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable company that actually calls you back.

★★★★★ MHC — Charlotte, NC
Category: Workstations / Desks / Chairs / Reception / Conference / Storage / Planning
We’ve used various companies over the years, but KC Office is different—they’re on top of everything. Customer service comes first. They make sure you understand the process and feel confident. The owner even came out and helped move furniture when we were in a pinch. They’ve been amazing to work with, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

★★★★★ KU Memorial Stadium — Lawrence, KS
Category: Desks / Chairs / Café / Lounge / Training
They’ve been incredibly responsive and easy to work with. They answered the phone every time we had a question or needed a solution during construction. Great team to work with.

Workstations & Cubicles Case Study

Scaling a facility is rarely a “buy new cubicles and call it a day” project. The real challenge is deciding what to reuse, what to upgrade, and how to build a plan that supports growth without wasting budget or time.

In this case study, Orange EV expanded into a new facility that needed a complete workplace ecosystem: workstations, private offices, conference rooms, breakout areas, breakroom, and training rooms—all connected to a warehouse/service environment. We guided them through a phased approach that balanced repurposed inventoryused options, and new AIS cubicles where it made the most sense.

Ergonomic Chairs Case Study

When you’re supporting hundreds of employees across open work areas, private offices, and cubicles, chair decisions stop being about “what looks cool” and start being about durability, consistency, and total cost of ownership.

This case study is about how we helped Netsmart standardize seating across their workplace over a multi-year expansion—with a key requirement most teams overlook:

A warranty that covers parts AND labor.

(Parts-only warranties sound great… until you’re paying labor again and again.)

Healthcare Waiting Room & Office Furniture Case Study

In healthcare environments, furniture has to do more than look good. It has to handle daily traffic, be easy to clean, support families, and still feel welcoming—because waiting rooms set the tone before a patient ever sees a provider.

For this new building project, we helped furnish multiple zones, including waiting room lobbiessoft seating for adults and childrenoutdoor seating, plus the operational side of the building: private offices, task chairs, and workstations.
