Designed by Mike McCoy and Peter Stathis, the Horizon 2.0 evolved from the original 2011 Horizon — already a Red Dot Award winner — into a refined version that improves on every detail without changing what made it work. Thin Film LED technology produces a single shadow on the work surface, which means no competing shadows pulling your eye and no glare from the wrong angle. CRI >92 means colors look like colors.

The counterbalanced arm adjusts with fingertip pressure and holds position without drift. 15-inch reach. 18.5-inch working height. Touch dimming remembers your last setting.

Our team ensures your Horizon 2.0 is positioned correctly, integrated into your wider ergonomic plan, and optimized for daily use.

Humanscale warrants that the Horizon Desk Light is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery. This warranty covers:

  • LED light module and internal electronics
  • Adjustable arm mechanism and joints
  • Base or mounting components supplied by Humanscale
  • Structural integrity under normal indoor use

⚠️ Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. cosmetic scratches, finish wear, bulb aging beyond rated life)
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper installation
  • Modifications or repairs made by anyone other than an authorized Humanscale technician
  • Damage due to power surges, electrical faults, or use of non-Humanscale replacement parts
  • Damage incurred during shipping or delivery, or by external factors beyond Humanscale’s control

  • Warranty service requires proof of purchase from an authorized dealer
  • Users must follow installation instructions and use the desk light as intended
  • Any attempt to disassemble or alter internal components will void the warranty

Every item is made to order based on your configuration and ships directly from the manufacturer. Because of this custom production process, this product is final sale once the order is placed.

Orders of 1–2 chairs typically ship via standard parcel (UPS/FedEx). Orders of 3+ chairs typically ship via LTL freight.

Freight Delivery (LTL) Expectations
Freight deliveries are curbside. An adult must be present to receive the delivery and assist with unloading. Liftgate, call-ahead, and inside delivery aren’t included unless requested (and may add cost).
