Small space, big ambitions. The Float Micro is Humanscale's answer to the desk that doesn't fit.
At 14" × 22", this is a laptop table — not a traditional sit-stand workstation. It raises from 19" to 30" (glides) or 20.5" to 31.5" (casters), covering seated and perch-height positions with one-hand counterbalance adjustment. No motor. No cords. No outlet hunt. Just lift, lower, lock, and work.
The offset leg design keeps your legs clear — you can pull up a chair without the base getting in the way. At 34.8 lbs and with both glides and casters included, it moves easily between rooms. 12 lb capacity handles a laptop, a notebook, and not much else — which is exactly the point.
Six powder-coated base colors: Black, White, Gray, Forest Green, Slate Blue, Burgundy. Worksurface in painted MDF or bamboo (eco-friendly, rapidly renewable). Formaldehyde-free core and glue. Planet Positive certified.
Phone rooms. Touchdown stations. Classroom corners. Home offices where a full desk would eat the room. This is the desk that fits where nothing else does.

Every item is made to order based on your configuration and ships directly from the manufacturer. Because of this custom production process, this product is final sale once the order is placed.
We currently cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or P.O. Boxes.
Shipping Method (Chairs + Small Items)
Orders of 1–2 chairs typically ship via standard parcel (UPS/FedEx). Orders of 3+ chairs typically ship via LTL freight.

Freight Delivery (LTL) Expectations
Freight deliveries are curbside. An adult must be present to receive the delivery and assist with unloading. Liftgate, call-ahead, and inside delivery aren’t included unless requested (and may add cost).

Residential + Limited Access Deliveries
If your delivery location is residential or doesn’t have a dock/forklift, we’ll reach out to confirm the best delivery method. If needed, we can arrange liftgate or inside delivery for an additional charge.
