No. A floor plan is helpful but not required. We can work from rough room dimensions, a photo or video walkthrough, and a basic sketch on a napkin. Most early-stage projects start this way and refine once drawings are available.

Room length and width, approximate ceiling height (matters for tall storage and panels), door and window locations, headcount now and expected growth in 12–18 months, and what you need to fit — workstations, private offices, conference, reception, or some combination.

You can do a rough layout yourself using free tools like RoomSketcher or Floorplanner. Where it gets complicated is density optimization — fitting the most people comfortably, planning for circulation and code requirements, and coordinating furniture dimensions with actual product specs. That's where a dealer with planning experience saves you from ordering furniture that doesn't fit.

Yes. For qualified projects in the KC metro, we'll come to your space, measure the room, photograph it, and build a layout recommendation. That's part of the process — not a separate service you pay for.

For a space under 3,000 square feet with a clear scope, we can typically turn around an initial layout recommendation within a few business days of our first conversation. Larger or more complex projects take longer, especially if we're waiting on architectural drawings.
